Ingredients
1kg beef cut into strips
2 pcs medium ampalaya (bitter gourd) cut into strips
1 pc medium sized bell pepper (red, yellow or orange)
3-4 tbsp soy sauce
butter, oyster sauce, cornstarch, garlic, onion, salt & pepper, beef cubes
Procedure:
On a heated pan with butter , saute garlic, onion, and beef on a low fire. The beef will release some water, wait until the water nearly dries then add a pinch saltand pepper. Also add in the soy sauce and oyster sauce while mixing to combine evenly and saute it again for about 2-3 minutes. Add one cup of water enough until the beef is tender. (It would be best at this stage to transfer the beef to a pressure cooker. Once the beef becomes tender, dissolve about 2 tsp of cornstarch into half cup of water then add it to the beef while continue stirring. Add the beef cubes, bell pepper, ampalaya and cook it with the pan uncovered for about 3-5 mins — do not over cook.
